Abusing Youths |

As a citizen I really do feel that GonziPN is pushing himself too far now and I never felt my intelligence insulted so much.
During the last budget Gonzipn in his own peculiar manner appealed to our youths saying: ‘hey look what I have for you’ and he announced the allocation of funds for the equity sharing scheme. So far so good because as a party we have the best interests of our youth at heart and such a scheme is beneficial to them. In fact we had already proposed this and another three proposals as a package to help our first time buyers.
Only recently party media broke out the news - and what news! The scheme was suspended because the budget allocated was exhausted. After the breaking out of the news, Gonzipn tried to go around it. However, the fact that the scheme was suspended in such a secretive manner already casts doubt about the truth of this excuse. In my opinion, the way things were done already pre-empts whatever they might say to justify such an action.
What is ambivalent is that prior to election no mention was ever made that to fact that the allocated budget was near exhaustion. On the contrary in the Gonzipn electoral manifest it was stated black on white that this scheme will be strengthened. Also youths were encouraged to go and apply, raising up their expectations and inducing them to incur expenses and enter into legal commitments to buy their own home. What happens now – all promises and expectations went down the drain however the legal obligations and expenses are still in place. So who is going to shoulder all this now that election is over? Gonzipn is sitting comfortable at Castille at the expense of these youths who believed him.
Mind you, I am not happy with the situation. I back anything which is beneficial to the citizens and the country but I surely condemn everything else which is detrimental to them and even more when the vulnerability of youths is used and abused.
