Budget Bomba

Last week I was watching Prime Minister and Parliamentary Secretary Tonio Fenech giving a press conference regarding the budget proposals. Believe me, I really could not restrain myself. How could I! We are such a great party – in opposition and already doing a budget. As Dr. Gonzi listed, the proposals one by one, the more I bloated up because its is no joke having a prime minister and leader of the opposing party proposing our ideas for the last budget prior to election. We all heard that PN was going to launch a very good budget, a budget bomba as we say in Maltese and sure it will be because all our proposals are bomba.

Well, well, to be true to facts, all our documents were criticised by the PN, However, they now surely retracted what they said, having adopted our proposals as their own, or haven’t they?

Surely we are a great party, vibrant and full of ideas. We also have the ability to transmit and convey them and PN was very receptive to be honest. They will not acknowledge us of course, but they don’t need to as people know.

Dear Prime Minister a big thank you for borrowing our ideas. Do not worry about how you are going to implement them, Labour government will do this for you after the next general election.
